2 week Check-up

B's Pedi appointment was this morning.

He now weighs 7 lbs. 4 oz. and measures 20.5".

He has a little cradle cap and a slight cold or allergies, but those are minor ailments we can treat at home.

We discussed his tongue issue and were told he is slightly tongue-tied. It can be easily fixed by clipping the frenulum, so we took the referral to see an ENT for the procedure. Our appointment is next Monday and they will clip the frenulum membrane and hopefully free up his tongue movement and help him be able to latch and breastfeed better. Another week to wait, but hopefully all worth it.

Everything else is good. He goes back to the Pedi on his 1 month milestone (10/18)...so again another Monday morning appt....

We have Pink!

So, as you can probably guess or see from the above bars, I took a pregnancy test this past Friday and it came back positive. It is still early to tell if this is a legit. prenancy or if I will be even able to maintain it. This morning I went for my bloodwork so my doctor can see my levels and determine how far along I am and how much of a risk I am. I understand we are lucky to have gotten this result so early in our TTC journey, so we are both still very cautious to believe it. I am keeping my pregnancy, TTC and the like seperate of this blog. Another Doctor's Visit

So after attempting to drive to work this morning and having to turn around twice because I was feeling ill, I made an appointment with my doctor. After seeing him and going over all the symptoms, taking flu and strep tests, I have neither and he gave me a prescription to fight a sinus infection. He also thinks I have another stomach bug and that's why I am feeling sick after eating. Ugh! I wish I could be "normal" and not have these issues. I still have my headache and although the house is sort of warm, I am still running hot (even though I was not recording a fever at the office this morning). I guess its back to relaxing on the couch and then back to bed. Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up better since this week's classes are going to be LONG and I will need lots of patience.
