For our Bookworm...

I also finished sewing 2 more soft books for the nursery tonight, since Husby was occupied with installing the closet.

*The 2 Books*

*Titled: Treasure Bears (aka Pirate Teddys)*

*Another Winnie the Pooh Book: Seasons of Adventure*

Closet System Installed!

*Two different angles of the nursery closet*

*Another angle of the closet*

It has 3 drawers and 4 adjustable shelves in the center console
Also, it has 3 bars for hanging clothes; 2 are high and 1 is low
It also has 2 other storage shelves; one really high (but unfortunately, very narrow with the top of the ceiling) and the other is right above the low hanging bar.

Friday Night Stir-Fry

Husby is a huge fan of stiry fry, Chinese food, and specifically, Panda Express. Recently, the one near us started selling bottles of their sauce. As a change-up, I picked up a bottle of their Sweet Fire sauce and ingredients to chicken stir-fry and rice. We have a great rice cooker, so I really just needed some chicken and fresh veggies.

He also adorned his cooking apron which states: She married me for my cooking!

It ended up being a great dinner. It tasted great, although a bit spicy for my taste (I ended up drinking 2 glasses of milk), but very filling. Cooking time was also not too bad. Our rice cooker was the longest portion of it, but I love it, so again no complaints from me.

Stretchmarks!

So unfortunately, I am writing this. July 1st and I spotted my very first stretchmark. According to the ticker I am 27 weeks and 4 days, while our calendarhas meet at Week 28, Day 1. It is small and located on the left side of my belly really low. I better keep up my Palmer's routine since I definitely do not want anymore marks or even for this one to spread.

I am happy I made it this far, but was really hoping to make it further, but oh wellz. Such is life! Off to the In-laws in a little while. Hoping for a quiet weekend of homework, craft projects, and baby talk. MIL is having gall bladder surgery today, but it is lapro. so hopefully she will just be tired and sore this weekend. Even though there is no BRU near them, I am hoping to pop into Target to check out the Baby section since there should be sales and such. Plus we need to hit Joann's, Hobby Lobby, and the local stores around there for baby stuff.

Off to take a nap before the long drive. Happy 4th of July everyone (a bit early, I know!)
